The Effects of flying saucers on People     Almost every subtlety in history that has kept a written history has put down the sightings of strange objects and lights in the skies. Theseobjects have been described as glowing wheels, sour balls of light, and diskshaped objects. The government oncestated that they had captured extra terrestrials. (60 minutes, CBS) On thecontrary, most scientists now agree that almost all sightings and stories ofextra terrestrials are not authentic. The United States government has recordsof th ousands of UFO sightings since 1948, including photos of alleged UFOs andinterviews with people who convey to have seen them. Since UFOs were considereda potential security risk, the report on these sightings was to begin withclassified as secret. Reflectionsfrom windows and eyeglasses can provide an ocular illusion of a UFO. radio detection and ranging ismuch more reliable to describe objects, but it cannot detect manycharacteristics that separate natural phenomena and physical objects. Radaroften picks up ionized gas, rain, or thermal discontinuities. Electronicinter... ...s tour Earth from somewhere out in space, it is safe to say that man are alone in their home planet. It is possible that this theorem will beproved wrong in the future, but until then all any person can do is guess, hope, and wait. What the future holds for Earth may not be what is expected, butuntil then scientists will be examining all the testify to help provide abetter future for the home to demeanor as we now know it.Works Cited"Unidentified Flying Objects" creative activity Book Encyclopedia, 1992.
